They clarify what kind of experience you’re signing up for, so a 9/10 local hole-in-the-wall isn’t mistaken for a 9/10 fine-dining destination — both can be excellent, just in very different ways.
The badges are meant to add dimension and depth to our recommendations. Why We Use Recommendation Badges
Not every great experience serves the same purpose — and not every recommendation should sound the same.
